Heron and Brearley Ltd has applied for planning permission to refurbish the George Hotel in Castletown.
The plans include installing a wheelchair access ramp and dumb waiter, modernising the toilets, replacing windows and doors and extending the beer garden.
Because the building is registered is also needs registered building consent.
