Planning inspector adjourns inquiry

An independent planning inspector has adjourned the Southern Area Plan Inquiry until next month.

Yesterday, the inspector ruled that for two specific sites he wanted the DoI to submit additional written evidence to what was originally submitted. 

This followed legal representations yesterday morning from one of the objectors to the plan.

Minister for Infrastructure Phil Gawne said the adjournment was 'unfortunate' but necessary for the transparency and fairness to all participants.
