Plans for new look Casltetown to go on public view

The public will be invited to view new plans which show ideas for how Castletown could be regenerated.

The Castletown Regeneration Committee is currently working with architects and Manx National Heritage to progress ideas on how to re-develop the town.

It’s part of an island wide regeneration scheme and will see thing like new seating areas, paving and lighting systems involved.

Plans will be put on display in the Civic Centre in September/October this year so the public can give feedback.

Committee chairman and Castletown MHK Richard Ronan said the plans were sympathetic to the historical nature of the town.
