There are plans to create an artistic sculpture to be placed at a busy roundabout in Braddan.
Eden Park Developments is looking for permission to install the feature at the centre of the junction connecting Eden Business Park and Spring Valley Industrial Estate.
According to those behind the application, the designs and location would not obstruct the visibility of motorists using the roundabout.
The proposals are now subject to approval.
