Police appeal after opportunistic car thieves strike

Overnight between January 27th and 28th two cars were stolen.

 

A blue VW Beetle was taken from Second Avenue, and later found in Pulrose, and a blue Daihatsu Fourtrack was driven from the Manx Arms to where it was later located on Royal Avenue. 

 

In both incidents the vehicles had been left insecure with keys to hand - anyone who witnessed the cars being taken has been asked to contact Lord Street Police Station.
