    Police recruits building community relationships

    Intensive interview training for the Island's new police recruits should prepare them for interaction with 'difficult' suspects.

    Eight student constables are currently undertaking 14-weeks of classroom-based training - they're now over half way through.

    Constable Mark Chinn has spent the last two weeks learning how to extract evidence from suspected criminals with a UK specialist - he says it's a transferable skill:
