Police are reminding cyclists to take measures to be more visible on roads as the nights get darker.
The southern neighbourhood policing team took to social media to issue the advice.
They say they have seen those on bicycles dressed in dark clothing and/or doing so with no lights.
Officers add that as winter approaches it is important to keep everyone on the road safe.
