Police are urging motorists not to park on pavements.
In a post on social media officers say not only is it extremely dangerous for pedestrians - but it's a struggle for those in a wheelchair, who have a pram - or even a guide dog.
Police say it stops people from being able to safely pass a vehicle - without having to go into the road.
"Five minutes on the pavement while you pop into the shop could cost the lives of others" is the constabulary's message.
