Police are warning drivers of modified cars to consider their actions.

It comes following reports of late night loitering and revving engines.

As a result, residents in Douglas - particularly near Chester street car park and South Quay have complained.

Officer add the 'behaviour of a minority of these drivers has caused distress and upset over a long period of time.'

Modified car groups have been contacted and asked to warn members against this behaviour, or enforcement will be stepped up.
