People found entering closed roads during motorsport racing will be dealt with "robustly".
That's the message from police after a Ballabeg man was fined £500 for being on the Southern 100 track during racing on Monday:
That man was Christopher Sharp - he admitted the offence at Douglas Courthouse yesterday; the court commended the marshal for his "brave actions".
Marshals have the same authority as police officers when conducting duties in relation to road racing - Inspector Andy Kneen says the message is simple:
Objectors call meeting over Peel hotel plans
Pink TT course lap for charity
Office plan for former soft play facility
Spice up your life at chilli festival
Driver cut from car after Mountain Road crash
Bus services could be cancelled later
Mountain Road shut after crash, say police
Watch out for horse riders today!
