Legislation to prevent anonymous donations to House of Keys candidates and limit their election campaign spending will be introduced into the House this Tuesday.
The House of Keys is due to consider the Representation of the People (Amendment) Bill for the first time.
The provisions of the Bill being put forward include requiring candidates to declare all donations received above a minimum amount of £50 and outlawing any anonymous donations.
It comes after a public consultation on proposed new rules for candidates after concerns were flagged up in the Douglas east by election last May.
