The Post Office says Next Day items are not being delivered today.
It says that parcels were due to be flown to the Island yesterday but the flight was cancelled because of ice and snow on the runway at Liverpool.
Packages will be shipped on this mornings ferry sailing instead.
Items should reach the Royal Mail network for delivery tomorrow.
