Prom campaigners slammed for 'refusing' to liaise with DoI

Complaining prom plan campaigners refused to work with Infrastructure to find a solution:

That’s the message from Minister Phil Gawne – he says the DoI’s approach to revamping Douglas Promenade shouldn’t be described as “shambolic”.

The Council of Ministers ditched the £21 million scheme after an independent planning inspector’s report declared objections against implementing it.

Murray Lambden started a Facebook campaign with a case against allowing horse trams and cars on the walkway.

He says the way its been handled is unacceptable:
