The next phase of Ramsey’s town centre regeneration is set to get underway towards the end of this month.
It’s said that these works will see a significant makeover for the area around the Courthouse.
Work will involve widening of pavements, replacement of all hard surfaces with natural stone materials, and the introduction of new lighting, pedestrian signage and street furniture.
Work will start on the Parliament Street section of the scheme and will progress in a number of distinct stages until May 2013.
Traffic management measures will be implemented to limit disruption to through traffic and allow continued pedestrian access to the area.
