Could Ramsey's ratepayers start contributing towards the Eastern Civic Amenity site?
The local authority has approached the Eastern Civic Amenity Site's joint committee to ask it to consider the possibility.
It's after a dispute over the northern site following Bride Commissioners pulling out of funding it.
A report to Douglas Council says Onchan Commissioners oppose other parishes joining the eastern site, and a report on the possibility is currently being prepared.
