Consultations are under-way to determine whether bringing the endangered Red Squirrel to the Island is a good idea.
According to the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture there has been a lot of calls over the past few years to offer the animal a home here.
The idea was seriously suggested recently due to the red squirrels decline in numbers in the UK due to the grey squirrel which has been 'bullying' them.
We asked chief executive of the Manx Wildlife Trust Tim Graham what kind of effect the introduction of the animal would have to the Island's established eco-system:
£7.7m cost by Manx Care staff sickness
30.5% hike to rates in Andreas
Only some war pensions discounted from care charges
Single car crash at Ballacraine
