The water main on Regaby West Road is set to be replaced, with works expected to take seven months.
Manx Utilities says it's part of its commitment to upgrade water mains that are 'prone to a high frequency of bursts.'
A rolling road closure will be in place and temporary traffic lights may be used, with diversion signs to direct traffic around the work as required.
Work will start on November 7 and is due to be complete in June 2023.
