The UK's sea safety regulator says it investigated just one incident involving a Manx ship over the last 12 months.
The Marine Accident Investigation Branch has released its annual report for the past year.
It says it's still looking into a collision involving the Manx-registered cargo ship Verity and a bulk carrier last October.
The Verity sank with one leaving one crew member dead and four more missing.
