Repair work to the stairs at Port Skillion in Douglas, which have left the beach out of action for months, has been completed.
Douglas Borough Council has worked with private contractors and the Department of Infrastructure after winter storms in 2021, and earlier this year, caused damage.
Douglas Councillor Andrew Bentley said the council’s involvement was ‘completely reactive’ to the winter storms and if the steps had been left they would’ve become a health and safety risk:
