A public meeting was held earlier this week to discuss the onshore and offshore windfarm proposals that could be developed on the Island.
It was organised by residents in the south and had various speakers on windfarms, geothermal energy and how renewable energy could be financed.
Around 50 to 70 people attended the meeting, and many believed the project shouldn’t go ahead, whilst others felt they needed more information.
