The RNLI is putting out a 'Mayday call,' urging residents to fundraise.
The charity says it faces 'yet another busy summer' and is encouraging the public to take part in the 'Mayday Mile.'
The challenge involves covering a mile a day for the month of May, with all money raised helping to provide vital training and equipment.
