The Department of Infrastructure says gritting the Island’s roads will continue this morning.
It says the full benefits of gritting only become clear after vehicles pass over treated surfaces.
It’s as driving over the salt activates the treatment and improves traction.
The department is asking people to keep this in mind when driving on roads and to drive to the conditions,
