Ronaldsway has confirmed it's begun work to cut waiting times for security.
The airport opened a new entrance to it's search area at the weekend and says people can find the new facility on the first floor.
Its part of £300,000 plans the Department of Infrastructure has to improve security waiting times.
The plans include automatic boarding card readers, a bigger security area, and a faster scanning system.
