A roofer who caused a 'calamitous' fire at Mount Murray has been ordered to carry out community service.
65-year-old Roy Cross was sentenced at Douglas Courthouse today.
A jury found him guilty of three health and safety failures last year - it followed his work on the Santon site on November 7th 2013.
Cross was ordered to carry out 240 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £2,400 in prosecution costs.
