Samantha Barks to play Elsa in West End production of Frozen

Manx actor Samantha Barks will play a starring role in a West End production of Disney sensation Frozen.

The 29-year-old from Laxey has landed the role of Elsa in the major production after being picked out by director Michael Grandage.

She says she feels 'honoured' to be taking up the role in the show which will be taking place at Theatre Royal on Drury Lane in London in October next year.

Priority booking for the show is due to open in late January with general ticket sales going live from March 6.
