A school in the south of the Island could be getting a new play area.
The Department of Education has submitted a planning application for Victoria Road School in Castletown.
It's proposed that mounds are created on the existing playing field, along with 'mini hills and amphitheatre seating.'
There are also hopes to have a 'chill out wildlife zone,' wooden boats and a sand pit.
