A school has paid tribute to a loved member of staff who passed away.
Ballakermeen High School honoured its school gardener, Peter Quayle, who passed away after a short-illness.
Peter had been looking after the grounds at the school for over six years and achieved second place in the 2021 Douglas in Bloom.
The school says it will miss Peter more than words can express and he was not just a co-worker but a good friend too.
