Senior Race Day set to be majorly affected by weather

Tomorrow’s TT racing could again be seriously disrupted by the weather as Ronaldsway has forecast another rainy and miserable morning.

Senior Race Day is the showpiece event of the festival and sees the Lightweight class in action before the Superbikes in the afternoon.

However, like yesterday, the day isn’t forecast to be clear and dry until well into the afternoon.

Last year numerous high-profile riders were very outspoken in their criticism of the decision to let some races go ahead on the damp track.

Yesterday morning’s racing was completely scrapped because of rain, but a full schedule of races was still able to take place before the end of the day.

Colin Garshaw of the Met Office told us more about tomorrow’s forecast (see audio).
