Shops could be forced to hide cigarette displays

Cigarettes could be banned from display in shops on the Isle of Man.

It's one of a number of new proposals which the Department of Health and Social Care is considering implementing. 
 
Minister Howard Quayle says more needs to be done: 
 
 
Other changes could include banning tobacco vending machines and further controls on advertising. 
 
A public consultation will run until January 19th - Mr Quayle says it could help protect future generations:
