A sluice gate has been removed from Laxey River today.
It follows severe flooding in the village on Tuesday, which saw branches and debris washed down stream.
The Weir was ultimately at the centre of the floods - with a build up of logs and branches being blamed for why the flooding on Glen Road was so bad.
A yellow weather warning for heavy rain is currently in place until 8am tomorrow.
