The Mountain Road is closed this morning - with Ronaldsway Met Office issuing a yellow weather warning for snow and ice today.
Forecasters say rain will fall as snow over the hills and higher ground.
They say freezing temperatures will mean icy patches on many roads, and most areas will see strong winds.
The warning is in place all day today.
