The Island could see a white start to the New Year, with snow expected later this week.
The Met Office says on New Year's Day on Wednesday there could be sleet or snow over the hills.
Temperatures will hover around freezing on Thursday, bringing the possibility of more wintry showers.
That cold snap will also bring the risk of icy patches on the Island's roads on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings and evenings.
