Snowfall worst in 50 years

The recent snowfall has been the worst the Island has seen for 50 years.

That’s according to Ronaldsway Met Office which says the last time snow struck the Island like this was 1963.

The white stuff has caused major disruption – particularly in the west of the Island – with some areas cut off completely and many roads closed.

Forecaster Neil Young says it was forecast:
