Calling the air ambulance out to three sporting incidents cost the taxpayer tens of thousands of pounds, it's been revealed.
Health Minister Claire Christian gave the figure in the House of Keys this week as she was quizzed by Onchan MHK Julie Edge.
Mrs Christian said of 55 air ambulance callouts since 2021, three were for sport or leisure-related incidents and those costs couldn't be claimed back from individuals or organisers.
She revealed how much in total the cost had been to call the service out:
