Stephen Pitts to stand for re-election

Stephen Pitts will contest the April 26 election for St George’s Ward where he served from 1982-85 and then from 1992 to present.

The 56-year-old is chairman of Leisure Services Committee and also serves on the Policy and Resources Committee.

Mr Pitts said he retains the same enthusiasm for serving Douglas as he did when he first started and intends on calling on as many people of St George’s Ward as possible over the next eight weeks.
