Police have issued a warning about the dangers of playing in the sea during a storm.
It comes after two youngsters were pictured during Storm Franklin on Fenella beach - amid a huge wave.
The person behind the picture - photographer Mike Radcliffe, said the boy in question was "lucky not to get caught by the undertow".
The constabulary has posted to social media saying while the pair "were OK" the situation "could have ended very differently."
Officers are urging people to "Stay safe on our island by making the right choices and thinking about the consequences of your actions."
