Old gas mains to be replaced, road will be closed for majority of the week
The junction of Princes Road and Marathon Road in Douglas will be closed between 6.00am on 8th August to 6.00am on 13th August for essential gas main renewal work.
The works are being carried out as part of a programme to replace the older gas mains with new polyethylene pipes that will last for another 100 years.
Manx Gas have apologised for the inconvenience that it will cause.
