
Members of the public are being reminded to be careful on the roads during the racing fortnight.
Police say they dealt with numerous incidents over the weekend involving people disobeying the rules.
Officers dealt with two incidents of drink drivers this past weekend.
They also stopped and fined two drivers who were caught exceeding the speed limit.
The first was a visiting biker caught doing 57 mph in a 30mph zone and the second was a local rider caught doing 51 mph in a 30mph zone.
One cyclist was also turned away from the Hairpin after trying to ride on the Mountain Course.
On social media, the Roads Policing Unit stated ''We are not just sat there waiting for an accident to happen''.
They've urged members of the public to be mindful on the roads.
