A local beach cleaning organisation has thanked the community for its help after thieves stole a sledgehammer from the charity.
Beach Buddies founder Bill Dale says the tool was taken from his trailer when his car was parked at the Abbey in Ballasalla last week.
The award-winning charity faced a £50 bill to replace the item - thankfully Whittaker Trading stepped in and gifted the volunteers a new one.
Bill says he can't understand why someone would target his truck which is clearly signed as belonging to the charity:
