The number of bed spaces available for tourists has grown by 3.6 per cent in the last four years, according to Enterprise Minister Tim Johnston.
He faced a question for written response from Rushen MHK Juan Watterson about the amount of registered tourist accommodation with the growth in online sites such as AirBnB.
In his response, Mr Johnston said in 2021 there were 611 self-catering registrations providing 6,263 beds in 2021 - by last year that had grown to 633 providing 6,488 beds.
He revealed there's been a 13 per cent growth in the number of registrations in the past decade.
