Travelwatch calling for 'urgent reviews'

Passenger watchdog TravelWatch is calling for urgent reviews following the serious transport disruption over Easter.

Chairman Brendan O'Friel says lessons must be learnt after thousands of passengers' travel plans were thrown into chaos.

At sea, Manannan suffered sustained serious damage after ingesting debris which led to a week of cancellations - flights at the airport succumbed to the mercy of the Manx weather.

TravelWatch says it believes reviews must focus on prevention as well as examining how disruption is handled by the operator - something Mr O'Friel doesn't believe was done well over Easter:
