Tributes are being paid to a former coastguard officer in Peel.
Peel's Coastguard Rescue Team changed its Facebook profile picture this morning in honour of Sos Whelan.
The Peel man served with the team for years, and died yesterday.
People have been leaving condolences and tributes on the team's social media page.
