CinemaNX and Isle of Man Film have announced that their two flag ships films from the past year are up for a total of 3 awards at the British Independent Film Awards.
TT3D: Closer to the Edge and Albatross have been nominated in three categories at the BIFAs.
TT3D is up for best documentary, the recognition only serves to add to its success story, with it recently winning the Best Campaign of the year for a film in 3D at the screen and distribution awards.
Albatross has received two nominations, both honouring the female leads in the movie.
Speaking about the Island's film industry Economic Development Minister, John Shimmin said, 'It is the enduring goodwill of the Manx people that has enabled us to make almost 100 films here on the Island which has generated literally millions of pounds for the Manx economy'.
