A UK man who punched a doorman at a Douglas hotel will be sentenced next month.
Ryan Paul Colclough of John Ritchie Street in Stoke on Trent appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 27 year old admitted assault at the Best Western Palace Hotel and Casino on Central Promenade on July 17.
Prosecutor Rachael Braidwood told the hearing Colclough had been repeatedly refused access to the hotel because he was drunk.
He punched a member of security staff in the face but caused no serious injury before he was restrained and police arrested him.
After hearing Colclough had a number of similar convictions, Mrs Hughes asked for pre- sentencing reports to be prepared.
She bailed him in the sum of £500 to appear in court again on September 6.
