The Department of Health and Social Care is failing to hit targets for waiting times, new figures show.
The latest data, published last week, shows how the department's been doing in the months up to April this year.
It aims to respond to a 999 call within 8 minutes in 75 per cent of cases - but managed less than 60 per cent.
And it says 95% of hospital patients should admitted, transferred or discharged within four hours of arriving at the emergency department - currently that figure is just 75 per cent.
The department says some progress has been made on waiting lists for cancer sufferers.
