Passengers will have spent more than seven hours on the Manxman when she docks in Douglas later this morning.
The ferry set out from Heysham at 2.45am and was due to arrive in the Island at 7am.
However, the Steam Packet company says the water isn't deep enough in Douglas harbour, and so the vessel will be delayed.
She's now due to arrive at 10am.
