Works to replace a strategic water main has been brought forward to support roadworks on Vicarage Road.
Manx Utilities says the main runs through land from Lhergy Cripperty and Union Mills to Vicarage Road, serving around 3,000 customers.
It's failed several times recently, and Manx Utilities says replacing it is a priority.
Traffic lights are currently in place at the roundabout to Vicarage Road and Stevenson's Way, and it's hoped the work will be finished by the end of May.
