Residents in Willaston and Onchan are being warned of potential disruption to their water supply.
The Isle of Man Water and Sewerage Authority will begin a flushing exercise on the distribution mains this evening.
It’s scheduled to take place until Thursday and side effects include low water pressure and discolouration of water.
Water bowsers have been placed in a number of locations including Onchan Shoprite and the Cat With No Tail and Manor pubs.
People have been asked to fill up their kettles or buckets prior to the flushes so they have usable water for the morning.
