A yellow weather warning for flooding will be in place around high tide this afternoon.
The Ronaldsway Met Office says coastal overtopping is also expected, bringing sea water and debris onto coastal roads.
Shore Road Rushen, Castletown Promenade and Douglas Promenade are the most likely to be affected, while Ramsey and areas of Douglas could experience flooding.
The warning is in place from 11:45am to 1:45pm today.
