A rare pod of approximately 20 minke whales have been spotted off the east coast of the Isle of Man.
The animals were seen between Douglas Head and Port Soderick Bay this week by the Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch.
A spokesman for the organisation says the whales were popping up during a ''feeding frenzy'' on fish and krill.
Although whales are frequent visitors to Manx waters, it is rare to see so many together at once.
